Reminded me of our SF loss to Real under Pellegrini where we didn't even seem to try and win the game. Just limped out tonight barely giving it anything. Conte seems happy with lethargic performances that only stop when the team are losing. In front of their own fans when 1-0 down that was pathetic.

Glad they are out because they'd probably beat us over two legs!

Was the bid for Harry Kane geniune or was it all played out in the Media as always? And if he had something about him he would of pushed for a move if it was.

I don't think spurs have that many
He came pretty close though in those last minutes even with spurs down to ten
So no, he didn't then.
I'll ask you a question being as Ray ignored what I posted

Do you think City would have tabled a bid of £100m if he was just average?
I don't actually know we did, but I'm grateful we were turned down if we did.

I'd have been devasted had we signed him, I've never rated him, and he's a cynical cheat imho (fouls and falling over, not a player I could ever warm too).

It is one of life's mysteries how Pep, one of the great football managers, keeps getting turned over by this lot.

Similar to us and Everton under Roberto Mancini and our cup exits vs Boro and Wigan under Manuel Pellegrini. Scratch both managers it is just a club thing.

So, remind me once again how City failed to score once again at the new WHL and lose to this dreadful Spurs team?

I hope Kane sits his contract out just to show that Khoont Levy up :) that last night was shocking I mean if your gonna go out at least go out trying ,........still it’s what Spurs do turn up when it doesn’t matter and go missing when it does........... I mean the result against you lot should have pushed them on but since then .......... 2 wins, 2 losses at teams in relegation trouble pumped out of the FA cup and didn’t even put up a fight in the CL still that’s Spursy all over ......... all them years being the so called best team in north London and they ain’t got Fook all to show for it

Conte bringing on a CB for a attacker in the 82nd minute was the most brain dead thing iv seen from a manager this season.

Kane is a little over hyped. If he was that good he would have helped Spurs win something by now regardless of the players surrounding him.

Spurs would of been a mid table side for many years without him

With him they are around top 4 pretty consistently

True. Although I'd add Son to that equation, until this season, when he too has become dross.
I've always said I'd have had prime Son before Kane, about four or five seasons back. Pep could have moulded him into one of the best attacking players in the league.

In my opinion, the last time they had a genuinely good team — as a team — was when they came to the Etihad in 2012, and gave us quite a run for our money. The team with Bale and Modric.

Laughing out loud, as they say. The last time they were the best team in north London, indeed in London, was when they had the likes of White and Blanchflower playing for them.
The team with Villa and Ardiles was a useful one, in all fairness. As we know…
