Thought this was best placed in here given it is where Dele’s rise and fall occurred. His story is not unique (Michael Johnson comes to mind) but it is a cautionary tale for any young phenom (something the likes of Foden. Palmer, Lewis, and others should take special note of).

I also think it is somewhat related to Conte’s recent (likely reign ending) rant.

For those that may not have seen the recent news, Adele’s been “banished” from his loan team in Turkey and it is reported Everton are going to terminate his contract.

From PFA Young Player of the Year (scoring the Goal of the Year) to being banished from playing and soon without a club in six years, despite being only 26 (usually just the beginning of the prime years of a footballer).

Why not? Everything that goes wrong in my life I blame the rags. It's their fault when it rains, when I get a puncture, when my favourite TV programme is delayed. When I step out of the shower and can't find a hot towel it's the rags' fault. I blame the rags if I have a hangover after a night out, I blame them because I can never make my money last me long.

I have a bit of an issue with the bastards!
Hot towel?! Fucking lucky shit, I'm lucky if there's a vaguely dry one with the kids about.

This isn't a complete joke post but Spursy can't do any worse than appoint Julian Nagelsmann, seeing Tuchel is going to get the Bayern Munich job. It is going to take some convincing. If not Spursy, England might be wise to have a closer look.

He's gone straight in to odds on favourite with the bookies.

If they hire him, then he'll either be sacked within 12 months or he'll win the league with them.
