I'd take Modric with the money from selling (Tevez) in a heart beat. Although id think it means the end of one of my favorite DeJong carrer here.

I honestly believe he'd be a great addition, although I have come to learn many opinions of him on here think the opposite. Either way he seems much more possible than Martinez.

Modric is a luxury player. Disappears when you need all hands on deck. Great when you're two up - last player you want when two down....................we've already got one of those - Nasri, and he annoys me enough already...................

I think Modric would be excellent for us a holding midfield player but I guess its all about opinions. I think Bale is excellent too but his price will be crazy money and I certainly wouldn't want to hand spurs in excess of £50m. Modric will push his way out of WHL this summer for tehright contract elsewhere.

If Modric is a holding midfielder, then I'm Shirley Bassey.

I didn't watch a lot of Modric this past season, but from what I saw, he had a poorer season than the last one, right?
Even if he was at his best, I don't see why we would need him.

Bale on the other hand would offer us a whole new and much needed quality.

guys if they sell Modric do you think that it would increase or decrease our chances of getting Bale? I can see that they would fight even harder to keep the jewel in the crown. On the other hand I think Bale would see this as a weakening of the team.

After all the carry on about Modric previously its hard to imagine them letting him go unless it is part of a strategy to keep Bale?
