Once again City manage to shoot themselves in the foot.

Who made the decision to waste the last fifteen minutes against Spurs by playing pass the parcel. Totally unprofessional and they paid the price by ending the day in second place in the table.

Ferguson makes sure the rags go for the jugular. You never see a team of his easing off if they are a few goals ahead.

I do know what you mean and i said this during the game, but unproffesional is a little strong i think.

He was just on ssn saying that was his heaviest defeat and he won't get beat by that many again.

Wasn't he Pompey manager when we dicked them 6-0 a few years ago?

As an aside after that Pompey game his excuse that time was that they'd had a hard UEFA game the previous midweek (they were at home and we'd been to Cyprus).

Re: Unprofessional

some people just aren't satisfied with a 5-1 away from home win. That could easily have been 5-2 5-3. Our players worked really hard for that game and perhaps this was the best option.

Have faith in Mancini.

I agree mate. The way we passed it round in the last fifteen minutes has ruined my weekend.

Well done CITY!!!!!!!!
If the level that we performed today is going to be our new benchmark, then we SERIOUSLY are going to be contenders for everything. Remember this is the third quality performance on the trot AND it was Spurs at home! Our new players still need time to bed in and get 'in-sync'
with the rest of the team. As for 'Manure', I promise you they are as worried as we are hopeful. The only thing that slightly concerns me is when/if we have a 'wobbly' patch.
Will the unity/vision from the team stay intact?
Whatever, we have ourselves a lovely journey ahead of us.
Lets sit back, crack open a beer, revel and ENJOY!

Ok.... obvious rag, fuck off

Who drops out when NDJ returns? Or does he have a spell sat on the bench?
Hopefully little spell on the bench. One of our rising stalwarts but why change things-unless needs must etc

Re: Unprofessional

I agree that there were more goals there for us when they went down to ten men. Robbie savage also commented on this. There is a lesson to be learned their by RM and the team I think. Also, I wanted those Spurs feckers truly humiliated as much as possible.

But I'm sure Bobby will take note after the other result and 'unprofessional' is way over the top.

Re: Unprofessional

Bet a tenner Bobby brings it up ... maybe this is why he wasn't smiling too much ... OP has a point.
