Do we go for the throat like we did against Bolton knowing that Spurs are much more dangerous on the attack.

Or do we add an extra holding player in to prevent us possibly being overrun? Even when we beat them late last season they had an awful lot of the ball and troubled us as they always do.

Tough game.

Re: How do we play Spurs next week?

Slightly more defensive cause all Spurs do is attack, attack, attack.

Re: How do we play Spurs next week?

As well as both Milner and Barry played today, I really hope NDJ is fit for the game. Aguero and Dzeko have to start again, it'll really help Kun adapt and also develop their already promising partnership. Clichy in for Kolarov as well.

Re: How do we play Spurs next week?

A bit more counter attacking next week, at least at the start. will de jong be fit? He would definitely start, probably in place of aguero. Cant really drop milner or barry after today whereas sergio might be better off the bench. Probablt the swansea line up but with milner for AJ

They'll come at us hard early on. we'll need to soak up some pressure. keep it level for 20 mins then take control

Definitely not this. They will stick Crouch on him all game and it will be like Sylvinho the other year. Todays defence will play vs Spuds.

Crouch will have to recover very quickly from his injury then:)

If the last 2 games have proved anything, it's that Dzeko is not a lone striker. He'd be isolated at Spurs. We must play Aguero up there with him again, otherwise we'll be backs to the wall all game with a huge gap between the midfield and Dzeko.

I didn't know he was injured :P In that case stick Gael in.

Re: How do we play Spurs next week?

These are the games De Jong is needed for. Take out Aguero, bring in De Jong, move Milne right, Silva left and Yaya higher behind Dzeko.
