Tough Game Sunday ?

I would have rather have had birmingham, bolton westham or stoke than reading....

they will be so up for it our players will need to be 110%, and i fear that we will not turn up as we havent done in the last couple of league games to fulham and second half against wigan

out of the europa league and the fa cup this is the one i want most...i want a trip to wembley with city even if it is just a semi final...its so close ou can almost sense it!

I just pray that our players and manager know how much this means to the city fans and that they bust thier guts to get us there. I have a horrible feeling about sunday's game, so much infact that i wouldnt even mind RM fielding a reserve team against Kiev on wednesday to keep the first team fresh

hey up here's happy simon again, f**king glad i dont sit near you

by the way bob can field who he likes on wednesday as we play both legs on thursday ;)

The lastest odds are City win 4/11. Draw 5-1, Reading win 8-1. Lets face it the bookies are not often wrong.
That said ,it's just the sort of game we have a long, long history of cocking up!

That is the worst thing I have ever read. Don't be so stupid.

Yes it will be a competitive game. It's an FA cup quarter final. But don't be silly. To say you'd rather player Stoke, Bolton or Birmingham that a championship side who regardless of beating Everton with a set piece corner, are sat 9 points behind Swansea, is just ludicrous. If our players have that mentality, we will make it a fucking hard game for ourselves. Of course respect the opponents, but come on, if we play to 90% of our potential, we will blow them away in the first half. That is the truth. People just like to hide behind the cautious 'can't possible jinx anything mentality'. Shane Long does not come up against Komapny and Lescott each week either.

Yeah, it's only fucking Reading. The worst side we could realistically field would still give them a beating -

But it is the cup shock's happen

Our recent home form is excellent
Reading away form good but not outstanding
Anything but a home win would be a major shock

Home advantage will be the key for us.

the point i was trying to make is that if we were to prioritise one then for me its the reading game.....we have two shots at it against kiev for starters and surely even you must be enticed by the possible trip to wembley...or maybe you are that old you can remember when we were actually there in the fa cup....well i can remember but in 1981 i was only 6 so ddint go....i want that chance to go and we are nearer to it in the fa cup

as for the premiership teams i would feel a lot more confident against any of those as they are known quantities....especially west ham who we could probably beat playing at 50% capacity (sorry hammers fans as i do actually like your club!!)

Am kakking it...not looking forward to either. Just hope no-one is underestimating Reading - they're on a roll at the moment but I've got some season ticket holder mates & they reckon they've been gash mostly this season.
