Not sure I fully accept their methods. Seems to suggest West Ham at home is a tougher game than Liverpool and Chelsea away?I think it’s an interesting question and definitely some fluctuations due to fixtures, but quantifying it seems difficult. I’ve come across this page which tries to re weight points off fixtures, and seems to rate us as third at the minute, accounting for fixtures

It wasn’t likely that we’d lose to spuds, it was a nailed on certainty! We’re cursed at their new stadium - if we were to ever go there late in the season with them already relegated, we’d still lose, fail to score despite dominating possession and more than likely miss a penalty at a key moment in the game….City have had 1 freak result and that was against Soton
Palace are a bit of a bogey team and Vieira is getting a tune out of them.
It was always likely that spuds would beat us.
Dippers were helped in their game against us. Milner should not have been able to make that pass to Salad (from which he scored) as he should have seen red previously.
The title is still ours to lose - don't worry about that!
I think being 1 point behind having the harder fixtures out of the way is huge. Still got 3 of the bottom 5 left too, so great position to be in.
I said after we beat United that there was a good chance we could be on a 10 match winning streak going into the new year.Only Wolves in 6th rest are 12th or below for first half of season

It sort of backs up the idea that City have a higher ceiling than the other sides. But we'd also kind of knew that from the games we've played against the other top sides.View attachment 30741
we're the only club without a noticeable trend of poorer results the higher up the league you go, just some silly dropped points at home holding us back.
