Tour De France 2011

Bollocks !
That will teach me to read the forum before I watch the highlights.
If I drink enough perhaps I can forget what I just read before Boardman starts up ..

If you're at work, just put this on your desktop, you don't have to put up with Boardman prattling on then.

Thats pretty good cheers for the link!

Gutted for Wiggo... looked a bad one, he was in such good form, podium was a possibility...

Cav was fantastic today though, winning the intermedate and the stage... would love him to win green despite the organisers, HTC with Eisel, Goss, Renshaw and Cav are quite some train mind, almost unfair how dominating they can be on very flat stages...

I said it before i only really follow the tour de france and get really in to it every year...

That HTC team today was awesome.... Really impressed how they work together at high speeds to fire one man for a few 100m... That is some team effort...

Real shame for Wiggo i was gutted for the lad and also young lad Thomas as he has took a hit today with his time...

Bit of hard luck really for Wiggins as he was in a great position to have a decent tour.
Another great day for the viewer though.

The teams have one man who they think will win the tour and the rest are there to help him. If you're confused now, wait til the mountains.

can someone explain how the tactics work?
do all the team work towards helping the 'main' guy. and why do only a few of them sprint towards the line? so many questions..

The short answer is the domestiques do the graft for the lead rider of a team.
