Tour De France 2013

Im knackered again. Had to hit the cider vaults early to calm me down.

The thrilling end of the test and Ventoux is almost too much to take in one day and both won for Britain. Just fucking wonderful.

I'm drained... the cricket was almost too much. Then turn over to see Froome do that. I agree with the comment that maybe Sky can release some of their data to shut the nay sayers up. 15 years of accumulating it i understand why they dont want to though. I dont think enough credit goes to the backroom staff, look at the track cyclists, all performing due to the ultra scientific approach they take, nobody questioning them like they are the road team. I guess thats because the track hasnt had the high profile drugs cheats like the road races have.

I have 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th on the stage all in my fantasy team...and I bet I'll still be struggling!

EDIT: I'm wrong sorry, I thought I'd put Fugslang in last night but I went for Anton instead.

Thought I was the only one still looking at the fantasy - haha.
Had my Tour viewing rudely interrupted by an attempted break in on the next street then a cop van pulling up outside & trying to catch the bloke as he climbed over our fence & off through next doors'. Bit disturbing.. They caught the bstrd though.*
I thought Froome was struggling then when I came back in he was in front - some ride that!

*keep an eye on those open back doors!

Are you Froome Corsica to Paris?? If so you've got it tied up i think, over 100 ahead of me in second. I forgot about transfers again, cost me a load of points today, just did them.

Drained is the word mate. Totally lol

I am of the opinion that Sky and BC should do whats right for them. The questions aimed at them do raise the question of the track performances. But does anyone really think the likes of Vicky Pendleton and Chris Hoy doped? Does anyone really think Cav dopes? So why question Froomey?

I thought today was thrilling, especially when he dropped Contador and i understand Shands reasoning of not showing potential. But yesterday i was the supporters clubs AGM and on the top table was one Tony Book who didnt play proffesional football til he was 28 and went on to be a legend.

Re the Fantasy: sadly I'm Chain Male (couldn't even put the name in right. Was going to be Gallifrey Griffins but was searching for the league name & then couldn't change it!

I feel like i should go and sit in the sun, but i cant move!! Getting to the fridge feels like a marathon.

I agree they should do whats best, but on the whole transparency thing that might include the release of some of the training data. If the rumors start to damage their reputation, for the reasons you stated earlier in the thread, Sky may force them to.

When Kennaugh and Porte were taken into the bottom of the climb i had little doubt Froome would put time into his rivals, i did say i didnt think they would struggle today but maybe next week when they have to go back to back, but i didnt expect him to destroy them again. He's some specimen.

I thought todays stage suited Sky so much it wasnt true. Last yeat in the Criterium du auphine they hit the Joux Plane with a full team at the front and massacred the pelotan and its what they do better than anyother team. The riders stick to the plan and peel off when done. Kennaugh today hammered it and when he peeled off he looked like he was going to fall of his bike. I dont think other teams do or give that much and trust that there leaders will deliver.

This is from a newbie to the sport and im sure some of you guys will set me wrong but its how i saw it
