Who is most likely to win this last stage?....

Im hoping Cav but Kittel and Griepel and Sagan perhaps are all dangers.

So happy for Froome. Bigger achievement than Wiggins last year (and I prefer him as a person, Wiggins always comes across as a it awkward).

I like that in Wiggo, always called it how it was, called a **** a ****, and dont do him down, Wiggo was the first, for the team and the nation and made this year easier for Froome to succeed.

His team was 3x stronger, far easier. He had this years tour winner helping him and dragging him up mountains.

And Froome had Richie Porte doing the same for him this year. Wiggos team wasnt 3 times stronger at all, the course was easier, more TT in it and suited to Wiggo but last year was a step into the unknown, Wiggo was the first and therefore will always be special. This year, they have all the experience from the previous years win and less focus and pressure on Froome, it is a team sport, on and off the road.

Sipping on some champagne, well happy for Froome, posing for a few pictures, a great year for him and moment for him.

Unfortunately I feel he'll be overlooked for SPOTY behind Murray.

-- Sun Jul 21, 2013 5:29 pm --

Agree to an extent, only thing I will say is that Froome was outright winner this year and I think he would have won it last year if Wiggo wasn't team leader.

Nice touch there from the Dawg, with his arm round Richie.

And choo choo here comes the Sky train ready to lead out onto the Champs :)

I'm not one to notice normally but the architecture in the centre of Paris is actually amazing.

Hmmm, Wiggo did win the TTs by quite a lot. I know Froome stayed with him on a couple of climbs but if he was in another team, i still think Wiggo would have won, that course was suited to him not Froome, Froome had never won anything before but it would have been close though. This years course Froome beats Wiggo everytime and on the margin of victory is more dominant than Wiggo was.

As for the achievement, i'd say to go from riding 4km pursuit gold to winning the tour, is like going from 1500m to the marathon (and quite a bit more distance)
