Said it before; Carroll deserved his ban. Although he made minimal contact with Flores, and the Swansea player ended up looking a twat, the intent was there from your man. You don't have to make contact; as far as I am aware, intent is an offence. And therefore, on that basis, Yaya is a lucky boy that he didn't get a ban. We're all looking for consistency from refs, even if it's being consistently shite (it'd be a start!). Just because Yaya got off with it, doesn't make Carroll's ban wrong.

I agree the system needs changing. But not sure any system change would help Carroll. Whether or not he made contact is irrelevant. Remember Lee Hendrie getting a red for an attempted headbut on Danny Mills that didn't even come close. Personally think he should have got a medal, not a ban but thats beside the point.

What is ridiculous is Mourinho deliberately and explicitly trying to influence the FA panel's decision in order to try and get an opposition player banned. That is bringing the game into disrepute IMO. He should be banned if anyone, Sick of Sky et al giving him unlimited airtime to peddle his self-righteous bullshit time after time. Seems obsessed with City just as Slur Alex was. Can't stop commenting about us but his love-in with Rags grows bigger by the day. Butt out Mourinho.
