Toure question ....

i hold head in hands to,richards cant head a ball to save his life ,is uncomfortable on the ball, has piled on weight (turning circle of oil tanker n all that,)im sorry but i think the boy has peaked and only wish we had sold him when chelsea wanted him.he is without doubt going backwards .dunne cant work him out really one min like a wall, next non existant, got to go i suppose we must rebuild from back ,we need to know if we score a goal it will prob win game ,as at moment we need to score three to even beleive we can win

I would definately take Toure and get rid of Richards.

Micah's problems in my unqualified opinion are partly Physcological and therefore more difficult to change because they are behavioural. He is a reactive thinker and not proactive and therefore has to make quick decisions often resulting in rash judgements.

Ahahaha!! So, in your 'humble' opinion as a clear behavioural expert, Micah's done for? At the age of... 21?! So, basically, come this age, we are set in stone about how we do things and no longer have the capacity to learn.

Marvellous.

In MY unqualified opinion, Tony Adams was a much better defender later in life than he was in his youth, and so to Wio, oh and John Terry. Hmmm... Leaves it a bit difficult to name a brilliant defender at that age now, doesn't it? I find Dunne and Micah are BOTH reactive and have found a way of both working. One would need a Carvalho type player to dovetail Micah(We have that in Neds) and it's the manager that needs to see that. Micah will go one of two ways, then... Continue his path or learn to read the game better, with advice down his lughole.

Glad I never needed your unqualified opinion in my youth, pal...

Spot on with this answer!
Carvalho is the unsung hero at Chelsea more often than not getting Terry out the shit.............they complement each other!
This shows you don't always need world superstars to blend a team it's finding the right players to complement each other, the only problem is you need the man in charge to spot the blend and find them.

PMSL!!

Absolutely spot on and so eloquently put!!

Dunne- Had his day as a Premiership player, ideally suited in the Championship now.

Richards- Needs replacing for the time being, there is obvious talent there and we don't want to give that away just yet.

Kompnay- stick him at centre back which is his natural position.

Tourre- If available bring him in.

Bridge already here now.

Giving a defence of- Zab Tourre Kompany Bridge

with Richards given the chance to sort himself out. There's the answer.

I am all over this answer...Richards has not yet become the player he will be. Too much pressure on him to be awesome. He needs time so to drop Kompany to the back 4 with someone like Toure would bring a very solid back 4...Zabaleta has been our shining light at the back, the only light!

Might help if Micah was played as RB not CB. I fear the attitude is wrong, rather than the ability, so might off load him and throw in Dunne in a BOGOF offer.

and zabaleta plays at?????????????????????????.....please think these through...........
