If he does sign, and Lescott follows suit then I can honestly say I wouldn't fear anyone in the Prem anymore. I'd be wary of the Sky4, definitely, but only in the way that you would show any formidable opponent due respect, but I certainly would not run scared of them. Not a chance.

I agree KB, but i also think that if we dont get Lescott, then we have enough between Kompany, Ned and Dunney to get through the season.

The only worrying thing for me is City would miss Toure and Ade when the African Nations comes around in Jan

Not that frantically up to speed on the strengths of the various African nations. I'd guess however, that Togo wouldn't advance too far in the tournament, so Manny/Manu/Ade/whoever wouldn't be gone much more than 3 weeks in total. The Ivory coast have a stronger squad (Toure, Eboue, Zokora, Kalou and Drogba) so, if Toure does come, he may well be gone for four or five weeks in total.As someone has already said though, we should have enough cover with Dunney, Ned, Micah and Vinnie. Repeat, IF toure comes!!

I agree Blue Chilli - pepper. Cannot stand violence just for the sake of it or used in the belief that it shows bravado when it shows the opposite.

But when violence is used as a tool and you take the emotion out of it there are few better tools for reaching a succesful conclusion. You just need to remain emotionally detached from the victim and always view it as a means to an end.

Discipline and extortion had sprung to mind but yeah aggrevated theft would work if thieving is your thing, I usually find that the threat of kicking a 6 year olds puppy will be enough for them to hand there bike over without having to actually burn them with my fag !

I am of course bored and find this all a little ridiculous from the first light hearted post from Ricster so just thought Id join in the ridicufest, bored again now so moving on. ciao

I thought it was well funny, but i can guarantee you that i will not be looking to beat my bird, as im sure Ricster wont either (unless of course she has got it wrong!), and i can also tell you that i sympathise equally as much as you with any female who has ever been subjected to violence of any sort.

I had my say and I was not going to comment further BUT numerous posts saying the same thing i.e. lighten up it was only a joke etc. All I want to add is would some of you who suggest that I lighten up please explain what is supposed to be funny/lighthearted etc about giving someone a black eye. I dont think I have had a humour bypass I just dont see what is humorous about it. (not Rickster this request is not aimed at you as you have said already it was intended as a joke and suggested on thinking about it again it may not have been in the best taste)
