Towns & Cities that are F----d.

Spent last weekend in Halifax West Yorkshire as me and the Mrs went over to watch Johnny Marr and The Charlatans at the rather splendid Piece Hall.Had a few drinks in the bars and got chatting to some of the locals who all said the same thing,Halifax is not a nice place to live,full of drugs and homeless people begging etc! Not too dissimilar to a lot of British towns up and down the country!
We went in one pub (The Old Cock) to watch City v Sheff Utd and got chatting to a lovely old geezer who was giving us the lowdown on the area and said that the pub we were in opens at 8 o’clock in the morning and shuts at 2 in the morning at the weekend,there was some interesting people in that place! As we were chatting a lad came up to me asking if I wanted to buy 5 lurpacks for a tenner ffs!
We came away both saying how many great buildings there are in Halifax and what a great place it is,had a look around Shibden Hall and Hebden Bridge on the way home,all in all a great little trip to West Yorkshire
 
Birmingham, seems to be a city under constant construction. It’s like Glasgow without any of the “charm”.

Never been there but Doncaster is a shit hole with no redeeming features, not a hill in sight either.
Watching the drug addled in the town center can be entertaining though.
