Dec 13 Netflix (I cannot believe they've indulged him so much money for flashes and bangs!).

The first film isn't one I'd watch but The Gentlemen and any film with Ryan Reynolds is it has to be a winner.

Same here. Stunning looking visuals, but what's that now; 8 or 9 films? I realise that Disney probably shelled out a King's ransom to Lucas for the rights, but they're taking the piss. The original three (moreso the first two) were good, but since then? Ho hum.


*edit* Disney (more specifically LLC, a production company owned by Disney) acquired Lucasfilm in October 2012 for $2.2 billion in cash and $1.855 billion in stock. Serious money. But they've probably more than made it back by now, given the amount of SW fans around the world.

That looks fucking mint. The religious bit puts me off very slightly, but not nearly enough to prevent me watching it.

I didn’t use to like Forest Whittaker, but I now think he’s a highly accomplished actor.

I really like Ben Affleck and there are obvious reasons why he chose to do a film that must have been cathartic for him.

But, I just don't want it to be one of those done-to-death 'saviour' films...

Sure, he's no method actor, but he has a range he's very watchable in.
