Didn’t even know they were making this!
Heard about this prequel some time back.
I think the poor execution of 'The Hunger Games' franchise just put this on the backburner for me. It's an awful set of films in my opinion but, clearly, some people love it!

It’s actually 3.5. :)
The "3rd" film, Mockinjay was split into two parts.
Didn’t even know they were making this!
read the book during lockdown , the book is as good as the original hunger games books , hopefully the movie does it justice.

I'm so anti-nuclear weapons, I would boycott watching this film.
I couldn't do it to myself to bother understanding the twisted minds that want to destroy other Humans in such fashion.

Different times then.. Germany was close to to making this bomb to, now if they made it first they wouldn’t of hesitated in using it too!

As a one time event I, somewhat, understand it.
But now, that creation for 'peace' for 'hundreds of thousands' has become a threat for annihilation for billions.
It's just my personal view as to why it doesn't appeal to me.

I think the story is fascinating, you have to remember we only achieved flight 40 years prior and rockets had only just become a thing, now they are inventing discovering harnessing the power of the atom! There are some genius in the world, pity it’s used for destruction.As a one time event I, somewhat, understand it.
But now, that creation for 'peace' for 'hundreds of thousands' has become a threat for annihilation for billions.

I think that's what bothers me; that 'genius' for destruction and profit is co-opted more quickly than for furthering Mankind in the same reverence.
It's depressing to me.
