This film slipped massively under the radar and it won't get a general release as it's a 'Neon' production.
I think this is the film and personal project I think Ava DuVernay abandoned finishing "The Marvels" for. From the trailer, I can see why as it looks really interesting...

I'll watch this as it does look interesting. Sandler is a very odd one. some of his earlier films are good. Little Nicky/The Waterboy/Wedding singer/Happy Gilmore/50 first dates. And his stand up show a few years ago was surprisingly good.
but 90% of what he has produced comedy wise is bad.... very bad.
He does have some less comedy roles that do work well tho. Click, Reign over me. Punch drunk love, Uncut Gems. I get a feeling this will fit well into this group from what the trailer shows.
Click, while it has comedy elements really isn't. well worth watching.

Just rewatching Halo thought it was great and season 2 out next month I want to have memory refresh of it..

Its a great show the cartoon, its aimed at Children but its very well made and you'll find plenty to enjoy as an adult. Hopefully the live action is faithful as the one they did previously that M Night Shyamalan directed was apocalyptically shite.

Whilst I don't love the trailer, I really admire that you like this kind of Z lister, 12 year old mindset script writer of a movie! Takes some faith, that!!
