There was only ever meant to be one more season anyway to finish the story. That's why there was a lot of complaining when it was cancelled.

Oddly enough, I would rather they left it at series 7 and, hopefully, another network like Netflix pick it up.

A whole series tied up in what should have been a 8th series of 10 shows (?) wrapped up in an hour and half?

No thanks...
