Maybe am just ignorant to them just because when I see a cartoon on for over 1 hour I just don't entertain them! If the storylines are that good why not make a film with that storyline!?

Look amazing, that! I like the familiar feel of the look, but the baseline story is straight out of the Matt Reeves current worldbuilding.

Bruce Timm co-created both shows hence the same art style although Caped Crusader is apparently set in the 40s.

It was originally supposed be a HBO Max show only to be axed after the Discovery merger but then got picked it up by Amazon who ordered 2 seasons.

Absolutely true!

It is a reason I prefer watching the animations where they can explore ideas in depth (dependant on the writers involved). 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' is a GREAT example of animation that could never make it to the screen in similar quality.
