Trailer Time...

Don’t watch it if you want to know who is getting to the end it literally shows the last few contestants as the trailer goes along!

Hate trailers that give to much away! It's like tv shows that show what's to come! I don't want to know! It's like on YouTube someone making something and there is a thumb nail on it with the finish job that puts me off watching it!

I don't know if it's because Formula 1, itself, can be a tedious affair (I don't always feels like that), but I'm not sure this film captures it the same way it can be. By the Way, I'm real stoked for Damson Idris to get up there with Brad Pitt. Idris is looking very... 'T'challa', let's say...

Anyway, from the director of "Top Gun: Maverick"

No idea what to think of this, but I remember the rumours about what actor was in it...

Just looked up what is spider noir and didn't know any of this first paragraph..

Spider-Noir, also known as Peter Parker, is a fictional character from Marvel Comics, specifically from the alternate universe Earth-90214 in the Spider-Verse. Introduced in *Spider-Man: Noir* #1 (2009), created by David Hine, Fabrice Sapolsky, and Carmine Di Giandomenico, he’s a darker, 1930s-inspired version of Spider-Man set in the Great Depression era of New York City.

Key traits:
- **Origin**: Bitten by a mystical spider after investigating a smuggling ring, Peter gains superhuman strength, agility, and organic webbing. Driven by the murder of his Uncle Ben by the goblin-themed mobster Norman Osborn, he becomes a vigilante fighting crime and corruption.
- **Setting and Style**: His world is gritty, monochromatic, and noir-inspired, reflecting 1930s pulp fiction and detective stories. He’s a hard-boiled, trenchcoat-wearing hero who uses a revolver alongside his spider-powers.
- **Personality**: Cynical, brooding, and morally complex, Spider-Noir is less quippy than the classic Spider-Man, shaped by the harsh realities of his time. He’s a socialist-leaning crusader against injustice, often targeting mobsters and corrupt figures.
- **Abilities**: Superhuman physical traits, wall-crawling, organic webbing (unique to him among many Spider-Men), and a "spider-sense" for danger detection. He also wields a gun, unlike most Spider-Man variants.
- **Notable Appearances**:
- Comics: *Spider-Man: Noir* (2009), *Spider-Verse* (2014), and *Spider-Geddon* (2018), where he teams up with other Spider-People across the multiverse.
- Animation: Voiced by Nicolas Cage in *Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse* (2018), where he’s depicted as a black-and-white, fedora-wearing hero with a penchant for dramatic monologues and Rubik’s Cube obsession.
- Games: Playable in *Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions* (2010), showcasing his stealth and noir aesthetic.
- **Cultural Impact**: Popular for his unique aesthetic and Cage’s memorable performance, Spider-Noir stands out in the Spider-Verse for blending pulp noir with superhero tropes. Rumors of a live-action series surfaced in 2023, but no confirmed release as of May 2025.

If you want specifics on his comic arcs, media appearances, or connections to other Spider-Verse characters, let me know!

Yeah, I saw links to 'Spider-Noir' when it first dropped, but by then I was out of the true comic interest I was once steeped in. It just seemed a bit too silly and too niche for me to look into and just seemed desperate.

Even when the character appeared in the "Into the Spiderverse" films, I couldn't connect with him, so we'll see how it goes.
