See that petulant kick out then? Wonder if the FA will turn a blind eye to that then unlike SWP!!!

Submitted to FA Customer Relations just now:

To: The FA
Subject: Cristiano Ronaldo violent conduct

At 54:47 of Manchester United's match against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, February 20, 2009, Cristiano Ronaldo intentionally kicked the back of an opposing player's leg after a play. The ball was gone, and there was no other intent other than to kick the opposing player. The FA recently punished Shaun Wright-Phillips with a three-match ban for a similar play -- although in that case the player actually was provoked with two fouls that resulted in a red card for the opposing player. If the FA is to maintain any reasonable claim to impartiality, Cristiano Ronaldo absolutely must receive the same exact treatment -- a violent conduct charge and accompanying three-match ban. Failure to do so will expose the FA an inequitable in its treatment of players and will bolster the arguments of those who claim the FA give favorable treatment to traditionally strong clubs like Manchester United.

Nice one.

Unfortunately you will get the tired old excuse that Howard Webb saw the incident and therefore no action will be taken, courtesy of one David Gill.

Then, as someone else mentioned, Webb must be disciplined for failing to take action on clear violent conduct he witnessed.

Good point, there's a ready made reply for the email you'll get from the FA explaining why they can't/aren't going to punish ratboy.

The FA....How appropriate that their initials sum up their competence.

Nice one. Just sent this to the FA as well:

Dear Sir/Madam

OK then. Here's one for you. I have just watched the Manchester United v Blackburn Rovers match. At around the hour mark Christano Ronaldo was clearly seen to kick out deliberately at David Dunn. Now the referee obviously did not see the incident or, as you state in your previous reply, Ronaldo would have been shown a red card for violent conduct. I therefore assume, so that the FA remain consistent and impartial in their judgements, that Christiano Ronaldo will now receive a three match suspension. I would be grateful if you could please confirm this.

Regards etc.

I suggest a few more City fans pursue this as the whole business is getting on my tits.
