Transferring a ticket

There was a deadline date for registering people on your friends and family, if you missed that it's tough as fas I can see.

It was all posted on here at the time, because I asked a mate to get a number, so I could add him, but they never responded to his request in time (not sure they have even now).
Not a go at you by the way, thats all well n good the club giving these deadlines but to be honest i don't pay attention until the season is upon us, far too much other stuff going on in closed season.

I'm on a 3 week holiday (bad timing) so now i'm going to lose £32.50 for my Napoli ticket. I sold my utd ticket back to the club, obviously they're going to make a killing on that, they're not interested in giving me the option on the ECL group stage (as far as i can see) they've probably got plenty. Normally i would pass it to one of our group for a family member. Possibly my last season, ticket since 77. City sort ot out if you care!

I tried on my account and it seems like it will work. I didn't click all the way through though.

The options are My Account / Tickets. Then when you are in Tickets, you should see a list of all the games with check boxes. If you click the check box, 3 boxes come up: Donate, Exchange, Transfer. If I click Transfer, I then get my Friends and Family members. I didn't select them because I don't want to go any further but it looks like the club thinks its Cup Scheme members should be able to transfer to friends and family or transfer these tickets. If these options don't come up for you, I would ring Supporter Services. An alternative might be to go to the Supporter Services offices before the Derby if the queues look OK. Good Luck.
Thank you. Followed your advice. Spot on.

I have just transferred my napoli ticket across to my friend. They allow you to do it, in my past experience? only so many days before the match, I have been checking the last few days, nothing doing . Just checked now? And it let me transfer

I have no-one on my F&F list that I can transfer my Napoli ticket to. The system gives you the impression that you can list the Napoli game on the exchange - you tick the Napoli box - but the next stage gives you a list of the games (all Prem - no Napoli) that you can list.

Lulls you into thinking you can list Napoli on the exchange - when in truth - as of today (11 Sept) you can't.

It’s beyond atrocious, its embarrassing
You can only transfer to the club who then sell it to a foreign fan who supports or should I say films videos on tictwat about a team that will be popular on his socials shite.
As happened to me when I sold my dad's for Chelsea last year.

The club would literally rather have a foreign tourist than a normal bloke who's watched them up and down the country since 1984.

I left the ground after the spurs game and it hit me.
That will more than likely be the last time I ever go to watch city ever.
City were everything to me growing up.
My first love

My one true love ya
My one constant they would always be there .
I went to two games last season.
Had my dad's ticket for Tottenham and the rags
I've put it on the exchange for the rags
Its empty now in the ground.
I mean the emotion.
The thrill.
The buzz.
Even since we moved to the new ground it's changed so much.
The bus from town used to be banging.
Against spurs I might aswell have been on a bus going to the traffic centre.
I'm the ground.
I met some lads I know from years ago.
But no atmosphere.
No signing.
No edge it might kick off.
And tourists not having a clue where they are asking directions to the seats.
Ive said it loads on here.
And I apologise for repeating my self.
But city was my life.
I feel like we've swapped been a proper working man's family club who were shite to average.
For a successful money making machine.

Aguero goal.
Beating the rags in the semi.
Winning the cup against stoke.
100 points.
Domestic treble.
The treble.
4in a row.
Have all been unbelievable.
I never thought any would be possible.
But I feel Ive lost my club at the cost of it.

I remember queuing up in the souvenir shop at Maine rd.
That was my club.
The kippax
Oh man city the only footballer team to come from Manchester.

I have been trying for the past week to transfer my wife’s ticket to my son. Until Thursday, the transfer option was greyed out.

It was obviously enabled today and the transfer went through with no problem.

That deadline was for putting non members on your list of who you can transfer to.

There isn't any limit or deadlines on the number of paid up members you can transfer to. If the other guy's son is a member, like he says, he should in theory be able to transfer. Unless of course there's some little appendix somewhere that says you can't transfer to someone who only bought a membership after the draw. Actually, that would kind of make a bit of sense if they're as keen to keep away fans out of the home ends as they're claiming to be.

I think that because the club have tried to make it as difficult as possible to sell/transfer/download tickets they have tied themselves in knots. It’s embarrassing that fellow supporters are stepping in to provide step by step instructions to help other fans.
The club should have produced step by step guides (not vague FAQs which are shite) for fans to follow. It’s not difficult to do but they don’t give a shit.

I have multiple friends and family in my relationships on the city website and everytime i try and transfer it says the person is assigned too many tickets but doesnt explain what that means, it just simply wont let me do anything with the ticket.

Happens to my son all the time, he has been a member since birth but few seasons ago the website said fuck you.

its only happened this season, whats maddening is that you pay for YOUR season ticket and the club thinks it can dictate what you do with it, if i choose to sell it to another member or send them my ticket there should be no issue with that.

Their argument is that you could sell it to the wrong person, however they'll sell it for a big fat juicy profit to anyone who can pay.

Now that's great blue sky thinking right there mate.

if the person has a member ship how can they say its being sold to the wrong person, with a digital ticket i could just as easily download it into someones apple wallet

At the bottom it says sales of tickets to the rags game are limited to zero per person are the club saying we flat out cant transfer our tickets for this game?

They can't but they do.

They just want your ticket. After all the shit they faced last year you'd have thought they would have learned a lesson but no they haven't and in time they'll pay for their reluctance to be decent about it.
