We meet at the Monton Bowling club on Hawthorn Ave in Monton once a month on the first or second Monday depending on matches etc.
Good group of lads and lasses. We have a coach to the home matches and transport to the away matches.

Sit near some of the lads SS2 also been on coach a few times to Wembley

First time I go for a later train from Euston and the 11.40 is cancelled! Get the 12.20 they say… get me in 14.27!! Gonna have to ‘wing it’ to the ground for 3pm KO

I asked them why there are no advance fares at weekends and they said their trains are full every journey. They didn't say why they haven't put on a full service on yet. Kings Cross to Leeds then Manchester is a damned sight cheaper.

Got on the train from Euston at Milton Keynes at 9.50 with lots of good seats . Time for 2 hour lunch on arrival.
It will be grim on the way back…

the 12.20 hadn't even started boarding at 12.20. I gave up and went home. That train has just departed Milton Keynes 23 minutes late I see... would have been lucky to get into Manchester before 3pm... and they want you to pay at least £45 each way for the privilege... what a farce...
