Travelling to Madrid

According to Expedia:

No direct flights to Madrid from Manchester on the day of the game (Ryanair not on Expedia, see below).

To fly direct without going for more than 2 nights, the best you can do is 18:20 Iberia on the Monday, then 16:10 back with Iberia on the Wednesday…for the princely sum of £552!

For Ryanair, there’s only 1 direct flight on the day of the game but doesn’t get to Madrid til after kick off, sooo
Flying out Monday direct, coming back Wednesday direct…£734!

To do the same trip on the Thursday/Friday is £80 return. Scandalous
Go via portugal on those days for about 150

It was in a specific hotel, I don't remember the exact name though

You won't be picking up tickets in madrid.
If you are buying from city they will be in your hands or on your phone by the time you are travelling to madrid.

The Stadium collection is at the Etihad the week before, not Madrid

Real Madrid. Please note we have received the following from the Supporter's Club.

Please also note - For this game the name of the supporter written on the ticket and this will be checked by Officials at The Bernabeu. If the name on the ticket does not match your photo ID you will not be allowed to enter the stadium

I'm trying to remember what Munich away went to last year with similar allocation expected. I think it went to citizens and sold out fairly quickly after that
Munich sold out at 15,000 points not on the cup scheme, having previously gone on sale to everyone on the cup scheme.

To answer the question, I'd say it's rather unlikely that this goes down to Matchday Members, but stranger things have definitely happened.

Doesn't help that european OSC's seem to be getting more tickets than ever before this season, so that will take a big chunk out of the allocation.
