Travelling to Milan (Atalanta)

Is brexit likely to affect this does anyone think?

Also anyone booking the travel package with the new club one?

Other than exchange rate, hopefully not.

Rumours we might need an e-VISA, but we won't know until a couple of days prior to departure, which is helpful....

You should have it anyway, but make sure you have travel insurance as I don't think a EHIC will be in use.

Yes, you will be travelling from a democracy (where the laws that affect you are made by people that are directly to accountable to you) to a corrupt, undemocratic supra national state, which no other group of countries in the world are seeking to emulate.

Yes, you will need at least SIX months left on your passport, meaning if you are travelling to Milan you passport will have to expire after around the middle of May. If you're taking a pet you need to apply 4 months in advance. Don't know whether that means if you're taking someone the wife doesn't know about. ;-)

Been having a mooch on Google for bars/pubs in Milan.

We'll be there from Tuesday afternoon so needing somewhere to watch the games on Tuesday night with a Peroni or 12.
One mentioned earlier in the thread, The English Football Pub.
Also seen a 442 Sports Pub, Offside Sports Pub and a cocktail bar (randomly) called Nottingham Forest, which you'd assume shows sport, along with the usual smattering of Irish bars.

Anyone been to any of these or have any further places worth checking out?

Never been to Milan but I understand its more restaurant type places rather than pubs, so wanna be prepared for when we arrive :)

Hopefully we’ll end up with a fair few recommendations because I’m not sure that English football pub will fit us all in!
