Drink driving offences should result in a custodial sentence. I'd lock every last one of the utter ****s up. And yes I know it will never happen, Just my view.

Drunk behind a steering wheel and it should be a week in the nick straight away before any paper work is started!. I was told that was the arrangement in Sweden.

" represented by solicitor Nick Freeman" He's got celebrity Mr Loophole on the case.

No mention of a plea, or if he's going for a trial. You can bet Freeman has his fine-toothed comb out over Xmas. Tw@t.

I disagree, I would rather see them picking leaves up in southern cemetery or painting fences.
We don't have the room in prisons, and what would a week in prison achieve apart from making them unemployable, and at a considerable cost.

imo, all non violent offences should carry community service.
Drink drivers should have to resit there test after there ban.

Try telling that to the families of victims of drunk drivers...

Why jail time for being over the limit in a car while not for carrying a knife? THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE!
Two or Three times over the limit then maybe - but that's like using a knife. And not many go to jail these days for ABH.

No further action in respect of the assault and criminal damage charges, according to mailonline.
