My dad used to have it done in a pot with milk and onions smelt absolutely rank,someone mentioned about liver and kidneys I still eat liver with bacon ( lambs liver) lovely and used to eat lambs kidneys as well but went off them a number of years back ..My mam used to eat it with onions and vinegar. If I’m remembering right, there was white tripe and grey tripe. I think one was supposed to be fancier than the other.
