Cos the men's team will have disbanded for the summer.Weird timing if they are having the Women on the parade aswell. They don't play the FA Cup Final until the 31st, why not wait until that?

Realistically, how many are going to celebrate the achievements of the women's team?Don’t be such a wet blanket!
We went 35 years without winning a major trophy, and every one we win should be celebrated to the fullest.
The women have won the WSL for the first time in a decade, and the U18s have done the Double. They deserve to have their achievements recognised properly.
Tin hat on but I think we're at a stage now where we should only do this sort of stuff for league title wins and champions league wins.
or you could just not go, but let those who do want to celebrate, celebrateRealistically, how many are going to celebrate the achievements of the women's team?
They could have had their own celebration on the Joie Stadium for those interested.
We've had enough parades to celebrate league titles to be doing them for cup wins now. Very different situation to 2011.
Parade the trophies after the villa game and then have them on display somewhere at the ground in the weeks after for people to go and have a photo taken with them. Job done.
And we rightly did in 2011 for the fa cup as it was the first trophy in decades.Newcastle had a parade for the league cup win last season
As someone who followed City for much of the 80s and 90s home and away - winning anything still feels very special. We should never get entitled. We are living the dream - even if the Match day Forum don’t realise it.Tin hat on but I think we're at a stage now where we should only do this sort of stuff for league title wins and champions league wins.
True - they might be the last ones in decadesAnd we rightly did in 2011 for the fa cup as it was the first trophy in decades.
The two trophies we have won this season are not the same.
No really, the women’s team are having a Champions homecoming event this evening at the Albert hall.Have they announced timings yet?
More i think about the event, more i think it's being done for the benefit of the women's team more than the men.
Surely they can bring the 2 trophies to the villa game and parade them on the lap of honour.
Sounds to me like they want to promote the women's team so doing an event that includes them ticks the equality box.
Think just the even at the co op with no parade would be better unless we do win the league.
Many can’t afford to come to the games. Others just can’t get tickets.Realistically, how many are going to celebrate the achievements of the women's team?

The parade gives the club and the players a chance to say, "Thank you" to the city and the people of Manchester.
It’s not costing us, the supporters, anything, apart from our time and expenses to reach the parade route.
I just don’t understand the negativity.
Arena show will realistically only be about 16k with a normal stage set up23,5000 fans will be inside the Coop Live Arena and will miss the parade, unless the event is happening much later afterwards, and giving fans the time to get to the Coop Live Arena from the parade route.
