Trophy Parade | Sunday 26th May, 19:30

I've been to every parade since 2011. In two minds today though. Putting aside the fact that I don't think the players or fans will really be in the mood after losing to that lot yesterday. Also, the last game of the season where we win a trophy was at home so we've already celebrated that with fans.

1) it's going to slash it down and be cold (at least last year's storm was tropical)

2) it's miles too late to take the kids

Poor planning from City, I think.

It wont be, & even if there were 2 million people there (you know like the dippers get :-) some very sad rags & dippers would be taking photos hours before & posting them on the net so dont worry about it, get down there & enjoy it.
They usually use one from a few years ago where coaches were leaving, purposely missing out Deansgate the streets swarming with blues.

It’s going to be great later.

I’ll be there but hard to disagree with this.

Going to be really fucking weird.

Yep. Club should have arranged nice sunny weather for the kids

So you think the players don’t want to celebrate a historic achievement, likely never to be done again, all because they lost the fa cup?

I think there are some very naive posters on here who seem to think the world has ended.

From 3pm today, Manchester is going to be buzzing. Blues celebrating, drinking together and enjoying the fruits of a long and laborious season. Just hope the rain gives in.
Well said. We’ve just achieved an unprecedented four PL titles in a row ( in the hardest league in the world) - and won the super cup & world club cup this season - after achieving a treble last year. We can’t win every match - football’s not like that.
It’s an amazing feat- we should be dancing in the streets but one loss & some plastic fans are moaning.

All part of a cunning plan to devalue us and make the rags relevant.

Ha! I take your point, but parades are full if parents with kids and I think a lot will be looking at not being home til post 10, plus them being drenched in the rain, and will sack it off.

Should be ok for the kids with it being bank holiday tomorrow.

It's quite simple really, go or don't go. Each to their own and all that malarkey.
