Yep. As the stewards would say: you are blocking the view of everyone around you (yes, even if you are on the last row!)...apparently, if the first few rows sit, the rest will sit cos 109 doesn't want to stand. Total bollocks.

So you have obviously been and asked everyone in 109 whether they want to stand then have you?

If people wanted to sit, I'm sure they would be asking others in front of them to sit so they can see but I haven't heard that once. Also, when the stewards are asking those at the front, it seems like everyone is singing "Stand up if you love City". Everyone around me has a problem with the stewards, not with people standing! If they want to sit down, they should relocate to 108 or a block that sits all the time! There are people in the block that don't really sing but stand to soak up the atmosphere...from what I know, it's not the other way round :)

im in 109 and havent heard one person complaining about standing, not saying that isnt the case but it must be a minority, most want to stand or like me couldnt give a monkeys either way

I do apologise, it'll be up shortly YouTube willing. Megavideo wasn't having it for some reason and they stalled on 10% at 'Final Conversion'. There's nowt much to get 'excited' about. I told you everything I saw on the second page. You don't see an old bloke getting clobbered or anything.

I'm sat in another part of the ground so only saw this from a distance. Believe me I'd love to be in a standing section so full support to those that are. What I don't get is when we go away we sometimes get grief and made to sit down and get all the stuff about limited allocation next time etc. It's been inconsistent though with some grounds (e.g. West Brom) giving us a hard time one year and then none the next time. But at the same time you see them leave the home support to stand if they want. At City they do the opposite, they pick on the home fans and leave the away fans to do what they want, especially European fans. Look at Napoli, you could see they had done the traditional European thing of packing in behind the nets and looked to be 2 or 3 to a seat stood around there. If Showsec want to show how hard they are why didn't they wade in and sort them out.
