Tube strike cup final weekend (now called off)

For clarity tube services should not be affected Cup Final weekend.

The strike by train maintainers over the weekend is designed to reduce the number of available trains for the week following. Trains can’t leave depot unless they have been checked over every three days. LU want to drastically reduce the frequency of safety checks.

If I am wrong I promise to give each one of you a lift on the back of my lambretta from Harrow and Wealdstone station to wembley. Might be a slow process but probably more reliable than the Bakerloo line.

2 miles from Euston to Paddington, where you can get a train to Wembley. You could jump in a taxi or have a decent pub crawl.
There is a little square in Paddington near the station with about 3 pubs, thats where we will be.

I'm having couple of days at my daughter's in Bristol so coming in through Paddington. I go in the small pub over the road from the main entrance, on the right, behind the Angus Steak House. Tables outside, a good pint and no aggro.

Cheers will have to check it out again but by tube I think I was looking at trains from Wimbledon to Waterloo originally
