The strike by train maintainers over the weekend is designed to reduce the number of available trains for the week following. Trains can’t leave depot unless they have been checked over every three days. LU want to drastically reduce the frequency of safety checks.
If I am wrong I promise to give each one of you a lift on the back of my lambretta from Harrow and Wealdstone station to wembley. Might be a slow process but probably more reliable than the Bakerloo line.
