Despite their obvious shortcomings as football managers, you can’t imagine wee Davey and van Maad rampaging around making ridiculous spectacles of themselves (van Maads army chant coming closest , but being quite harmless) like this arse has done.
As you say after two post-bacon fuck ups, the time was surely right to sit down and take stock of where they were and where they were going after the great guide and mentor had gone. Instead they made the third and most spectacular cock-ups and appointed a counter-pep candidate, and the results are now there to be seen.
Hopefully, this episode will set them back years while we disappear over the horizon.
