Are you sure, thought that was for throw-ins. I thought a corner was classed as a dead ball situation. If you are offside from a freekick then you are offside in a corner situation.

Cant be offside from a corner. By definition the ball is played backwards from the byeline.

Notice that there is also no mention of whether the ball travels forward or not.

There is no offside offence if a player receives the ball directly from:

• a goal kick
• a throw-in
• a corner kick

Brilliant display from Italy. They were all over Turkey from the start.

Bobby has them playing some good football; nothing like you’d expect from an Italian team.

Definitely ones to watch for the title.

It’s a very open tournament. I can think of five teams or so who could win it.
