Does anyone remember the cartoon that used to be on at the end of kids tv programming and before the news in the 70's or early 80's? This couple had an ark and loads of animals and they used to go around having adventures. All i remember is the phrase 'All aboard the Skylark'. Been doing my head in for years and nobody remembers it.

Marine Boy

And the one about aliens taking over human forms with a newspaper reporter trying to convince the world what was happening!?

Was it called "Invaders" or something?

Marine Boy, thanks for that, I just watched a clip on youtube & it took me right back to being a nipper when life seemed a lot less complicated & city used to win things, happy days.

Anyone remember the Tomorrow people (the kids that jaunted) and the Double deckers ( a gang of kids that had a double decker bus as a den)

Words and Pictures used to scare me shitless as a nipper, with the floating Wordy but especially the serials they would have on. One of them was about an alien who came to Earth and a family looked after him. But an evil older alien came looking for him. There was a scene on a country road where the older alien made the family car break down with his mind whilst hiding behind a tree. Gave me nightmares for fucking years that did!!
Another of the stories was about an old guy who used to steal rare birds eggs. I think it was a brother and sister who played detective and got him nabbed.

My first crush was on Marmalade Atkins. Played by the lovely Charlotte Coleman (probably best known as Hugh Grant's flat-mate in Four Weddings) who sadly passed away a few years ago.

I remember too Brush Strokes being on a Monday night and I had to go to bed after it finished. Watching him paint that big wall over the final credits was horrible. Meant kip then school. I was always willing him to cock it up and have to start again.
