TV Fixture Changes 2019/20

Indeed. Really makes you wonder how much input the police have over fixtures anymore? Maybe they don't care as long as the clubs foot the bill?
TV companies call the tune these days, very sad. Fans are way down at the bottom of the list and even the clubs themselves are. If we are playing Tuesday night if we progress why can't our game stay at 3.00 or even go earlier. The players are just used as a play thing for TV

Sky would love the exposure of it kicking off both off and off the pitch. Demanding stadium closures and point deductions for our treatment of the sweet and innocent Liverpool fans...
Rarely, if ever, do you see the words innocent and LiVARpool in the same sentence

Just re read the email again. Def reads as though SKY call the shots

Dear Supporter,

We have received communication from SKY Sports that our match against Liverpool will now be played on Sunday 5th April, 4:30pm kick-off. Hospitality will open from 2:00pm. Please note that dependent on both teams participation in the Champions League the game may move again back to Saturday 4th April, 5:30pm kick-off of which we will notify you if the game changes.

Your booking will be automatically transferred to the Sunday.

Thank you for your continued support!

Kind regards,

MCFC Hospitality

Presumably two other teams, provisionally kicking off on Saturday at 1730 have also got a similar email. You do wonder why it’s just not on the Saturday then either team having CL progress wouldn’t matter. Absolute clowns running both the game and tv.

Presumably Sky get significantly more ad revenue for the Sunday 4-30pm games.

When is Premier League announcing the various TV Picks now that everything would be on TV ... Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime and BBC all to get fixtures and as I understand every game would be on TV. At some point when this was announced, I also read that on Friday (today) they'd list the exact dates and times of first few weeks at least ... but nothing yet.

Rough Dates/Weekends with FA Cup semi date having been moved again (already), so that means:

June 17 - PL Catch up
June 20 - PL
June 23 - PL Midweek
June 27 - PL & FA Cup Quarters
June 30 - PL Catch up
July 4 - PL
July 7 - PL Midweek
July 11 - PL
July 14 - PL Midweek
July 18 - PL & FA Cup Semis
July 21 - PL Catch up
July 25 - PL Final Day
Aug 1 - FA Cup Final

Then, if I've understood correctly the plan would be...
Real Madrid 8th Aug
15th Aug Quarter Final (one leg)
22nd Aug Semi Final (one leg)
29th Aug Final

20/21 season planned to start 19th September?

Teams not in FA Cup or Europe will finish the season on 25th July and have 8 weeks off. If we get to both finals, we get 3 weeks off.

Seems like that could fuck up next season.
