The NHS going by stealth. This is the start of the dismantling of the state broadcaster.

I mean if I was struggling I may have a think about it otherwise seems like a ball ache making sure I have my phone on me to record them or a script near the door. Fuck that £10 and some **** doesn't knock on my door
Some people don't see why they should pay up for something they don't want simply to avoid threats.
I don't mind the government threatening me with fines, prison and a criminal record for failing to pay for essentials like schools and hospitals, but government threats for declining to pay for Eastenders and The Voice are just immoral and ridiculous.

Warrants for BBC funded capita staff to enter your home are very rarely issued by magistrates.
Even if a warrant is issued, as long as all your TVs are switched off during the search you are OK.

the bbc should be a subscription service and then they can run the business based on its customer revenues and not because they have forced a tax on everyone whether they want it or not
they might need to revist their pension scheme as well then of course.......
Should people that don't have kids or cars pay less taxes because the school system and upkeep of the roads doesn't affect them?urmston said:BoyBlue_1985 said:Dont really see the point of the hassle of people knocking on my door for the sake of £10 a month. BoyBlue_1985 said:I absolutely think this as well, they should scramble the BBC transmission so without paying the £11 a month you dont receive the BBC.
