TV Series

Without spoiling it, how does it last so long. Whilst it was funny I couldn’t see how it would potentially develop for as long as it has

I mean, it's a sitcom so there's very little "thread", but by season 8, the jokes are wearing thin and the ideas have gone.

I'm basically watching this last season out of obligation more than anything else.

Just finished the stranger, last episode kind of disappointed with the ending, but not too much as at least it left me feeling something, unlike far too many things I've tried to watch recently.

Made me laugh though as people i work with now think Stockport is something glamourous with it's market Hall and evident 'park where you want' policy ala the stranger. Didn't quite capture the hands down joggers brigade and fights outside maccy D's,maybe it is all fisticuffs outside the artisanal foody market nowadays. Get a better class of brawler when you pay a tenner for a burger on a...uegh.. brioch bun.

Took the step to delete the backlog of walking dead off my planner, not going to watch it as lost interest around early S9 and pretty much waching only streamed things for months now.

That feeling as the free space percentage went back below 80%... ahhhh ...

Some of the novelty wears off last couple seasons. But it manages to stay funny throughout generally. They can stop at any point, but given that people continue to watch it, they continue to make it. Gets a bit repetitive, but still manages the laugh out loud moments every so often. The short format helps it.
