TV Series

Polar bears were brought to the Island by the DHARMA Initiative, who kept them in cages at the Hydra station, on Hydra Island. (The World of the Others) According to Pierre Chang, because polar bears possess keen memory and adaptability instincts, they were prime candidates for studies in electromagnetic research. After training at the Hydra and solving the cage fish biscuit puzzles, the bears were fitted with a tracking collar, tranquilized, and taken to the Orchid where they were put in the familiar cold climate of the Frozen wheel chamber to push the wheel and be transported through space time. (The New Man in Charge) Some of the polar bears survived the Purge, after which they were freed from their cages and swam to the main Island. (Access Granted) After the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 in 2004, survivors of the crash occasionally encountered and were threatened by the bears. Charlotte Lewis discovered the skeleton and tracking collar of one of the experimented polar bears in Tunisia, where the Exit was located, that same year./SPOILER]
I thought you were joking about that little lot, so much so that I googled it. Damned if that's the show that I remember :(

I watched the first two episodes of From last night.

Is it worth sticking with as it's started well or will it be another Lost?

I've seen it mentioned on here before but can't recall what people's thoughts were.
We only got part way through the first episode of the new series and gave up (for now anyway). It doesn't help that the wife can't remember much at all of season 1 so she was little bit lost (ho ho ho). I'm quite happy to give it a swerve as I just don't like any of the characters (bar perhaps the Chinese deputy) and was willing them to all get eaten.

I absolutely love it and have been watching since the first series, I'm a huge fan of shows like Lost and Dark so I like a good what the fuck is going on show, that said you don't get answers til the last couple of episodes of series 3 and even then it's only some of the answers, not for people without patience

It gets absolutely shat on because so many people hated the ending. When the only reason they shat on it was it didn't end how they wanted it to and went with the whole "they were dead all along" which just isn't true.

It gets even better on a second watch because bits of the story link together even better. It was way ahead of it's time and completely changed how TV is now made.

Plus Kate was fit as fuck.

Ha, yes, Kate was a definite draw for me, she never admitted it but the wife enjoyed it partly due to Sawyer (so shallow of her).

Damn, I'm tempted to find it on whatever platform it's on and watch it again now. I did watch every episode but I am/was firmly of the "they were dead all along" camp.

One answer followed by about 3000 more questions.

Someone asked me the other day if it was worth carrying on with Lost....

My reply was, 'Evangeline Lilly is in it, so yes'

Ai explains it..

In the TV show "Lost," the characters were not dead or in purgatory when they initially crashed on the island. The events on the island were real and happened in real-time. The twist regarding the afterlife pertains to the flash-sideways sequences shown in the final season, which take place after the characters' deaths, serving as a sort of limbo or purgatory where they come to terms with their lives before moving on. This is clarified in the show's finale, where it's revealed that the flash-sideways timeline is actually a kind of afterlife experience where the characters reconnect before moving on together.

Watching "From" on sky.

First i didn't like it and couldn't get into it. But at the end of the first season i'm hooked. Some of the acting is gash, but the whole idea is interesting to watch.
