I’ve got to the penultimate episode of the first series of Gangs of London.
You’ve got to give these type of programmes a bit of leaway in the realism stakes. But fuck me, they’re taking liberties with this one. I’m almost treating it as a comedy now.
Think I’m probably just sticking with it for the excellent violence.

Just watched Genius - MLK/X on the plane. Potted history of their Civil Rights movements. I have been after a book that covers this for ages. Really enjoyed it.

Well @Feed the Elk finally watched the latest episode today, and you’re right, things seem to be moving along a bit. What’s that 4 episodes left? At this rate things will be at fever pitch by the last two.Good to hear! Hoping to watch the new episode tonight …
Have to say also, there was one scene today that I couldn’t keep my eyes on the screen for, just had to look away (I’m not gonna say anything plot-related here, but I’m sure you’ll recall the scene I’m talking about). I’m not especially squeamish but er ….!

Tbh, after watching the first two episodes of S1, I posted almost exactly the same thing.
I’ve ended up sticking with it, but I 100% had the same reaction. Even now, I veer between thinking why am I wasting my time with this, and being keen as mustard to watch the next one.

I’m the same so we shouldn’t be spending our final years watching shit because it’s been recommended.
Should just watch 10 minutes and if not impressed, move on, it’s what I did before I became old
