For me, it finished at series 3 (I don't use "season" I'm not American).
I thought 'Dexter' broke the mould at the time. Had TV ever let the viewer follow the daily escapades of a serial killer before?! I don't recall so.
But now we're used to it and it'll never get back there again.
Season 6 with the Christian psycho has been the worse so far (I just started watching Dexter)The trinity killer was peak Dexter after that not so much, I never even watched the last season.
The final ever episode is the worst hour of television I have ever witnessed. But perfectly watchable upto that point, even if it did decline..I’m midway through season 3 of the original at the mo, when did the heyday last up to?
They tried with adults and it didn't go well, the kids minds are more flexible so give more chance of working (not 100% as you'll have seen with the red(?) head).First 6 episodes of Alien Earth down 2 to go.
It's pretty good, but these Androids or synthetics are so dumb. Why didn't they download intelligent people into them instead of kids?(
Must admit it's growing on me, the last episode with them giant flies was ace.Agreed.
I'm always curious why some don't like the thought of expanding the Xenomorph universe! The 'Eye' is a special treat for me! It's potential is spectacular!
I had an underpants Monday after the Derby. After watching the highlights of our win on Sunday I watched the full series of David Simon’s The Corner.
Much like the first series of The Wire it’s set in Baltimore but instead of focussing on the police and low level dealers it concentrates on the users. It’s a pretty harrowing and depressing watch.
Although there is a little bit of light at the end of the final episode when there’s brief interviews with the real people who had managed to detox and who the main character’s are based on.
Although it is rough and ready, shows its age and some of the acting is a bit wooden and the camera work erm gritty. If you loved The Wire you’ll probably like this.
