I have just finished binge watching Season 1 of American Gods. I'm also watching current seasons of The Magicians, Walking Dead, and Supernatural. I've recently caught up on several shows on Netflix that include: Jessica Jones S2, The Punisher, The Crown S2, and Queer Eye. I'm also rewatching seasons of Buffy and Outlander. I do need to catch up on Steven Universe as im about two seasons behind on that one.

Sometimes it's better to let a show take you along. 'Defending Jacob' is one of those shows.

The small axe series produced and written by Steve McQueen for the bbc is nothing short of astounding...

a real window into the wind rush generation and the racial/social implications.... it will undoubtedly win award after award!

I’m about 5 episodes into season 1 of Barry (2015/16?) and, while it’s not ‘great’ TV, it’s actually quite compelling.
For those who don’t already know, it’s a story about a paid assassin wanting to quit his trade to be an actor, and the conflicts that arise.
It’s a black comedy with love interest - not hilarious but enough to raise the occasional smile.
Afternoon or early evening viewing for me, as I’ll watch the harder stuff later ;-)

I really enjoyed Barry. I think it gets better as it goes and wait till you get to around the middle of season 2, the episode with the extended fight scene is bloody hilarious.
