TV Series

My son steered me on to Banshee, My usual film and tv apps have been great for everything I've wanted to watch but Banshee streams and links seem to be few and far between
It's on the Sky Go App and also on Now TV (available via an Entertainment pass).

Torrent downloads seem very limited due to it's age.

Walker reboot first episode ok I’ll watch another one. Never watched the original so don’t know if that’s a plus.
Ahh, is that already out? I'm interested to see how Jared Padalecki handles it.

The original looks appalling nowadays, it's on one of the many repeat channels on Sky and the wife occasionally flips to it during adverts on other stuff. I find it hard to believe we used to watch it to be honest, perhaps it was just lack of choice at the time.

Edit: first 2 episodes are out but it's broadcast in the USA only at the moment. Other suppliers are available...

Star Trek Lower Decks.. 1st time I tried to watch it I coudn't get past 5 mins. but then I saw a lot of people raving about it so tried again. 1st few eps are a bit iffy but it gets really good. Its basically Star Trek does Orville.

The Detectorists. Show on BBC iPlayer. Excellent stuff.

Watched the first two episodes and it’s more family orientated with walker, seems it’s going to be a slow burner and more like a soap.

Watched the first episode of Patriot (Prime) last night, some dark humour to it, which I liked. First series was 2017 so not new by any means. Anyone else watched both series? Worth sticking with?

Ackley Bridge.
2017,Netflix.
Two very different Schools in Yorkshire merge with each other with predictable outcomes but it's quite funny with some great young actors in it.

A lot of USA programmes recommended on here. I've tried to watch a few including Succession but I find most Yank series include a lot of "padding". As an example goi g back a few years the U.K. Mad Dogs first series lasted four episodes whereas the USA version which followed the same storyline was 10 episodes long.

Currently enjoying The Serpent made by the BBC and Netflix, very good cast and loosely based on a true story (apparently).
