TV Series

Ackley Bridge.
2017,Netflix.
Two very different Schools in Yorkshire merge with each other with predictable outcomes but it's quite funny with some great young actors in it.
I hated school, the second happiest day of my life when I left (my wedding doesn't make the top 2), consequently I haven't watched any "school" drama in 45 years, sends a shiver down my spine.

A lot of USA programmes recommended on here. I've tried to watch a few including Succession but I find most Yank series include a lot of "padding". As an example goi g back a few years the U.K. Mad Dogs first series lasted four episodes whereas the USA version which followed the same storyline was 10 episodes long.

Currently enjoying The Serpent made by the BBC and Netflix, very good cast and loosely based on a true story (apparently).

+1, The Serpent was very good, a little disjointed with time lines, far too much back and forth but was still very good. 8/10.

Scratching my head as to why The Serpent hasn't gotten so much attention. It's fantastic television.

Could not agree more. The most miserable 5 years of my life and don't need any tv programme to remind me of it. Weird as loved primary school and then loved college and uni, but the memory of high school just makes me cringe.
