TV Series

The Pitt when first come out it got loads of positives and mainly raving about it! Watched first 20 mins and thought seen all this before! Never watched it again

I was having a think about why it falls away for me. I think for the first series, the action was the interest with small snippets into the character building. I was looking forward to getting to know the protagonists.

In series two, nothing has changed. In fact, I feel like the character building has took a back seat to the potential 'shock and awe' of the eps (mind you, I have a citizen I work with that has one of the bodily issues shown in the show and the design for the injury was 80% accurate).

For me, that's where 'ER' nips ahead of it as an overall show. I don't know any of the true motions for anyone in 'The Pitt'.

So, now, I'm only invested as I've put in the time as, to me, the show lacks balance.

Never watched ER watched casualty and house and I’ve started a lot of medical shows but mainly give up on them! Greys anatomy first 5/6 seasons was very good, packed it in after season 6.

Maybe try and find some eps of it. It's more character based and less action, but the building blocks for 'The Pitt' are there.

Same as us with Greys, I think its on season 17 or something now

Halfway through Black Rabbit. Enjoying it so far. Probably benefits from being a limited series. Other similar series, imo, get bogged down by being over long
I sort of enjoyed it but it was also fairly formulaic in that you (one) is watching and going “just stop being such a fucking fuck up then you ****” - pretty similar to a lot of threads in off topic tbf.

Where can I watch series 2 mate as I didn't see it advertised on HBO

Has anyone watched ‘Marshals’ yet? A spin off from the excellent ‘Yellowstone’ franchise by Taylor Sheridan.

Pretty decent first couple of episodes so far.
I loved Yellowstone but gave up on that after one episode. I felt it lacked the depth and scale of the other Yellowstone shows and felt like a cheap daytime drama. Then I found out Taylor Sheridan wasn’t involved and it all made sense.

The Madison has started well and the scenery is spectacular. Pleasantly surprised how good Michelle Pfeiffer is in the lead role. I’m only 2 episodes in, but a thumbs up so far.

Cheers mate

The Madison.

Seems like a load of touchy feely shmulz, I'm a bit surprised Kurt Russell is involved in it !
Wife forcing me to watch it. :)

Jury duty presents company retreat on Amazon prime. Interesting premise and more expansive than the first series. Very funny at times and proves that there is at least some nice folk in the USA.

Ben fogle in China amazing tv a must watch to see what the future may hold in a way it’s frightening if it becomes a reality
