TV Series

Just finished Narcos: Mexico Season 3 and what looks like the last ever one.

Going to miss this a lot. Not quite up there with Sopranos and occasionally painting by numbers in subsequent seasons but beautifully produced and a really charismatic cast.

Probably time for Succession next.
Excellent show mate, finished it a few weeks ago. Looking forward to the new season!

I’d enjoyed “The Bay” previously but this latest series features an English Asian boxer who was murdered, he has a deaf School Kid brother who looks about 30 years old. One of the lines of investigation was to visit local bookmakers shops and find out if any significant money had been staked on an Amateur fight, yhey found someone had £10k on. No high street bookmaker would price up an amateur fight (apart from Olympics, National finals) and there’s no chance any bookmakers would take that size bet on a minor event. The bookmaker also gave the name of the punter to the Police, if anyone is trying to initiate a betting coup there’s no way they are going to leave their credentials, it’s absolutely preposterous. So many TV programme’s interpret betting incorrectly.

15 seasons and I've managed to never even hear of it :(

It's all on Netflix so I may give it a go.

I watched the first 2 or 3 seasons when it was added to netflix ages ago. A lot of it was pretty damn funny. But I just got to a point of saturation and couldn't take any more. Took a break, and never resumed it. Might do one day.

Probably extremely late to the party but I've started to binge watch It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

It's batshit crazy and I love it!

My favourite episode so far is Wrestling For Troops

Can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at a single TV episode
Probably my favourite episode (and season) of the whole show.

As funny as it is, Mac doing the interpretive dance (which is not my thing at all!) in front of his dad in prison is one of the most moving tv episodes I’ve ever seen too.

On mid Season 2 of Ray Donovan. Micky is awesome but the rest are grating on my nerves now. Not sure if I will do Season 3.

Up to date with Raised by Wolves (s2 e5), still not sure what to think of it but i guess since i'm still watching it i quite like it. Loads of religious symbolism, which is obviously something of a trademark for Ridley Scott.
