Not seen Masters of the air yet, but i've been looking forward to it for about 6/7 years since it was first rumoured.

I've seen people say it's good and bad, but the third episode becomes different level. Anyone corroborate?

Recently watched the two Walking Dead spinoffs. Dead city (Negan and Maggie) and Daryl Dixon. Both excellent and a bit different from the main plot. Will see what Rick and Michonne is like as Rick became annoying to say the least

Yep, the first mission to Schweinfurt after the feck up with take off times and cancelling part of the force, utterly depressing - in reality it was probably much worse - with only light the knowledge we actually won the fucking war. They will probably cover the second raid that was even worse for The Eight Air Force. CGI is really good (although I think there is too many LW fighters) and bombers were not always leaving contrails behind. And considering the rate and speed of death, not so many chances to meet the characters like in the previous two series.

Started watching Echoes. 3 episodes in, don't have a clue what's going on, and not particularly bothered either. I'm not one for abandoning shows but it hasn't engaged me enough to really feel that I want to know if it all comes together well. Bin or persevere?

You'll probably laugh at this but I've just started 'As time goes by' with Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer, from the first episode.

I can't remember when I have laughed out loud so often recently. Gentle humour and no contrived box ticking.
Love it. :-) (so sue me for being old fashioned and liking gentleness etc.) :-)
