Anyone seen the new series of Shogun ,

I've only seen the first episode, but that's enough for me to say I'm confident it is an amazing show, and will be most people's best of the year.

It's in the same ballpark as Chernobyl & Band Of Brothers, which means it's quite a long way ahead of the majority of other historical fiction series, even the ones I enjoy.

Three part drama on itv looking at it from the drs and nurses point of view , with real footage from boris and co and written by a dr , very powerful and upsetting

Its called Breathtaking.
But you are right, very good.
Its like " Mr Bates vs the post office" and the recent Yorkshire ripper show ( The Long shadow, i think)
People not doing their jobs and authorities only interested in covering themselves

That’s exactly why I didn’t watch it….even the clips made me feel a bit uneasy.
