Mindhunter not continuing was more about budget constraints than him not wanting to do it.
He was sending the budget sky rocketing due to using VFX on everything and Netflix basically said they wouldn't fund it anymore unless he could make it more cheaply.

Black Doves on Netflix with Keira Knightly.
Spy thriller with a totally unbelievable plot. Got more bizarre as the episodes evolved but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
