Will often come up in debate, I measure it like this, which one can you watch back from scratch and be as entertained as the 1st time?

For me it's - breaking bad, the wire then the sopranos for brilliance but I'd watch the sopranos over them all if I had to choose 1!!!!!!!

They are all superb, but the wire for depth of brilliant characters, edges it. Watched it 3 times all the way through, sheeeeeeeeeet i might just make that 4!!

The real star of the wire IMO!!!!

Er, I think you'll find that was Omar's Crown

I'd expect you to go with the norm (:, frank has more layers than a chocolate orange, proper teamster that guy, would die on the battle field for what is right and sacrifice himself for his troops in the process, he's what us moss-side scrotes call a proper 'G' lol, Omar on the other hand has great value but a leader of men he does not make!!!

You watching that abomination that is Dracula?... Oh my that is poor

Is the wire something the Mrs will enjoy watching do you think? Or one to do myself?

Drug gangs of Baltimore, the effects of that on the streets, the docks, the police, education, media and politics, my girlfriend at the time couldnt understand the slang and gave up, how wrong she was.

It depends on what shows your wife likes. But I reckon she would like it, as it is a top quality show.

Frank was an ok character but hardly left an impression with me before he ended up in the river, He was much more memorable as Andy Bellefleur in true blood. Omar had principles and he had a presence and attitude that stayed with you, you couldn't help but like him. I was annoyed when bodie died too, loved bodie.

Yes I'm watching Dracula, Originals, sleepy hollow and vamp diaries and yes I'm loving them all.

I kept remembering Bodie and D talking about chess, thought Bodie might make it to the end of the board and be the new Stringer. Sad when he copped it, and prop Joe, liked him too. Highlight though Omar vs Brother Muzone and the end of series 3

I'm ahem borrowing the first series of the wire due to the recommendations on here.

Will post a review of the first couple of episodes tomorrow.

I am hoping it will be as good as...

Sleepy Hollow

Boardwalk Empire (My favourite series)

Or even burn Notice.

The start is a lot of getting to know the characters, not much happens as there are so many good characters in it, there is a lot of scene setting. Hope you enjoy it, its not everyone's cup of tea.

Will defo be giving the wire a go as loved sopranos and breaking bad. Just finished Boardwalk series 3 and Homeland and the Tunnel wil lbe coming to an end soon so will need something.

fook off
He was only As deep as the murky river he ended up dead in because he was thick enough to walk into his own planned execution. Yes he loved the men in his union but his son was an entitled, thick as pig shit arsehole and for the sake a of few quid he covered up the deaths of 13 innocent women. He had no balls at the end of the day and his principles on stretched as far as his wallet.

And did I mention fook off ?

If not, fook off ;)
